Generative typographic experiments, based on a simulated 2D physics models.

All of these animations are based on a simulation of a physics-based particle systems. Those system’s initial state is the result of a randomized configuration of digital particles that are inserted into the physics “world” with dynamic properties – including, but not limited to, spin, speed and initial direction.

The playful interaction of simulated boundaries and simulated particles generates virtually limitless combinations of typographic variations, negative space-impressions and attractive visual states, demonstrating that physics and the visual arts can unite in the digital realm to create charming results.
